Tape Op Magazine
Cover illustration for Tape Op, the most widely distributed magazine in the world dedicated purely to the art of audio engineering and music production (and something of a holy grail for me). The illustration is based around a Teac 144, the earliest portable multitrack cassette recorder, with background imagery borrowed from a hardback copy of a 1962 BBC sound engineer's training manual.
